#123 I Made A Zine!
My debut short story collection is now available to buy!
Today’s newsletter comes with exciting new things from me!
I recently had the opportunity to chat with artist and writer Danny Gregory about making art and being happy on social media. Danny runs an inspiring YouTube channel and wrote The Creative Licence, which is a mainstay on my bookshelf.
Our conversation is the latest episode in the Art For All podcast released on Monday. Thank you Danny for having me on!
Make Some Art, Get It Seen
At the start of the year, I gave myself a project: make art, get it seen.
As I revealed back in #113, the project clicked into place when I read Adrian Tomine’s zine collection Optic Nerve and thought “I can make something like this!”
So, umm…I did!
Over the past six months, I’ve been drawing each morning and I’m excited (and terrified!) to show you Bite Guard Fever Dreams, a 20-page short story collection.
In today’s letter I share the philosophy behind the project and tell you how to get hold of a copy.
Until another Sunday soon,
I’m totally inspired to start drawing again after reading about your project and seeing the fantastic result. Looks fantastic!!
